Advanced Drilling Practice

Course Objectives:

The participant will learn the latest technology applied in the oil industry, directional and horizontal drilling, instruments tools and MWD, multi lateral holes completion techniques for both horizontal and lateral holes, logging in highly deviated hole, hole stability, coring techniques and hole cleaning.

Participants will be acquainted with the underbalanced and casing drilling, expandable tublars, 3D Visualization and the impact of new technologies on the drilling problems and well planning.

Participants will find the answer of each question in applications of the techniques.
